Great buy

So far so good. Bag is holding up pretty well. I love that it has multiple handles.

Great bag!

This is an awesome and versatile piece of equipment. I wish I had picked it up sooner, and so great to rep the Eagle and the Team RWB color-ways.

Scout bag

Bag is amazing quality! Love the look and functionality of it. However, the description says 15-50 pounds. I loaded the internal bag with 50 pounds of sand and could not get the internal bag to fit back into the actual sand bag. I think the design issue is the placement of the zipper. If it was on the end cap the fully loaded bag could fit fine. So now I have a sandbag that is a little light for my liking.

Durable bag, smaller than expected, but a nice sturdy bag

This is a nice durable bag although a bit smaller than other "standard" sand bags. I was only able to get about 30 lbs of sand in the bag (instead of the expected 50) but this still works great because we have clients that can use this size and weight. It comes with a double velcro sealed inner bag that will keep the dust down but it's difficult to get the sealed bag into the outer bag. The sealed bag is quite a bit larger than the outer bag so it's not possible to fill the inner bag, seal it, then get it into the outer bag. To use the inner bag, it has to be filled under capacity or you need to use a different inner bag. I also tried to put the empty inner bag into the outer bag and fill it that way. Still didn't quite work out. The root cause for this situation is the zippered opening on the outer bag isn't long enough to allow the full inner bag to be inserted. If the zipper were maybe 5 inches longer it would work. That said, you could use something like pea gravel in just the outer bag and you'd get the advertised weight and no (or reduced) dust problems. Overall I'm happy with the bags.

Claims 30-50# - will not fit inside shell filled!

I love the design & Brute Force bags, as I had a standard one for years at 50#. I saw this & wanted to order immediately from RWB, but was concerned as it said it comes with a “30# filler bag”, yet the description says 30-50# capacity. I emailed to confirm if the bag filled & still properly sealed within its intended dimensions will it fit inside the scout size shell (with 0.5 cu Ft. All-purpose sand @ 50#)? I was told “yes”, so long as I didn’t exceed the folded top / seal size of the bag, which I did not.

The filler big will absolutely NOT fit filled inside of the smaller Scout shell it comes with. While the shell itself is the proper size, the zipper shell opening is only 3/4 the length of the filler bag. No matter how much wrestling & smashing & flipping I attempted, the shell will not pull over the halfway point of the full filler sand bag.

The solution is to drop it to probably 35# max with sand, and then fold it down more to stuff inside the shell. Then it’s not a 50# capacity filler bag, as I explicitly asked, for this very reason / concern I anticipated. The full bag dimensions will not fit inside this shell size, which I why I would have ordered the larger standard direct from Brute instead, but wanted to support RWB.

* The old style fillers (I believe) used to have the Velcro opening running the length of the bag, so you could partially fill, load it into the shell, then Velcro the edges & fill the center full & seal before zipping the shell closed. These fillers only fill from one end & fold over to close - so that is not an option, FYI.

Unless you’re running lead weights or a bag of large river rocks (that would damage the filler & shell), there’s no way anyone actually filled this with a basic bag of fine sand (full) & fit it inside of this shell.

Great bag itself - but up to only about 35# of sand or max 3/4 filled filler bag capacity to fit inside the RWB scout shell it’s designed for. FYSA -
